where did the time go???
Whoa, thanks to my blogger friend who reminded me to catch up on this blogging. Between my facebooking and my new found habit ~tweeting~ I am in big cyber trouble! That's OK, Noah goes to bed at 7:00 and I could be doing other naughty things on the computer, wink , wink. Hmm, where did I leave off? Noahs birth into this crazy world, the crazy thing , is he may never get the just of how crazy this world is! That's ok in my book. The world got a little crazier for me ,thats for sure. His first week of life consisted of many doctor visits. First we needed to see the heart specialist to see if he had the heart defect that alot of downs kids have, his EKG came back fine, however he has a small leak in his valve that doesn't seem to be getting any bigger, so we will keep watching it. They say if he gets an infection, it could be deadly, so if he ever has any dental work, or surgeries, we will treat him with antibiotics before the procedures. His ears seemed to be fine, no deafness. His ears have remained a problem though, he has ear infections on a regular basis as he has a compromised immune system, SICK all the time. Lots of tubes, we are not sure if he has any hearing loss at this time, but one ear shows signs, booh!!! Noah has been in occupational, physical, and speech therapy since he was 3 months old. This kid has worked really hard , and he continues to work hard. I lived in Havre until Noah was 2 years old. I did alot of doctoring in Great Falls. At 2 years of age we moved to Fort Peck, I needed my dads help. Devan was a junior in high school and Breanna was a 6th grader. They started school at Nashua and became Porcupines just like there momma. I would say they became Porkies, as we said when I was in school, but I guess that's politically incorrect these days. Once a Porkie still a Porkie, dang it! I loved being back in Fort Peck, we lived with dad for a while until I found and apartment i Fort Peck, we later found a house and lived in it for 6 years, time flies. Devan graduated in 2004 and then moved to Bozeman. He got a taste of big money , he was working as an excavator(Sp?) making bank$$$$. Breanna continued her high school years as a basketball star, and every other club and sport you could think of and excelled at them all. She graduated in 2008 and is now in college at MSU Bozeman, Go Griz, just kidding. Somewhere in there I bought a little deli in Glasgow called Soma Dis. The road to that investment was rather interesting at most. It is a great story , I think I will let it wait until another day as, I must check my tweets, emails and where every bodies status's are. By for now, oh tomorrow is New Years Eve, here's to you 2009, it was another year for the books.
